Community Development Coordinator

Kia ora, I’ve been part of the Cottage since 2021 and it truly feels like my second home. My role enables me to work alongside local whānau and individual community members to create a warm, inclusive space where people feel connected and supported. I focus on building strong relationships within the community, supporting our volunteers, and connecting people with the resources they need.

Treasurer/Funding Officer

My position involves keeping things ticking over financially. This means applying for funding and managing the finances. I have had many years experience working for not-for-profit organisations and have been with Waltham Community Cottage since May 2016.

Community Programme Faciltator

Kia Ora, community is one of my passions, and I have worked in the sector for the past 15 years, firstly at Delta Community Support Trust (still attending church there) and now here at Waltham Cottage, I love the opportunity to be part of a strong community and help it to thrive and grow, the Cottage is already a place I am enjoying and the welcoming feel that offers a real sense of belonging is something special.
I look forward to spending more time as part of this community as time goes by.
